At the book launch I went to last weekend, this dog stole the show for a few minutes. This pond was in the middle of a courtyard which was where the launch was happening. The rain had gone away and the sun was shining strongly. This fella decided he wanted a swim and a drink in the middle of a speech. Of course, he then got out and shook water all over the place. Someone who knew where he lived (he was a blow-in) took hold of him and took him home. We didn't see him again that day. He was a really cute dog!
