On my way home tonight, this sign caught my eye. The current petrol prices in Melbourne -- fairly representative. I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches $2 per litre or more by the end of the year. Who can afford to drive a car?

Our price per gallon has come down from $3.00+ to $2.49. They say $2.00 by October...here's hoping.
